The Neanderthal is a pretty insignificant ravine just South of Düsseldorf that you whizz over on the autobahn. If you blink you will miss it. All the English are guilty of is confusing Holland with the Netherlands much as we cultured Scots are not lumped in with our knuckle dragging Southern neighbours.......when the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland gets described as ‘England’.
