Hi I have a daytona 600 with starting issues, it doesn't even try to start I turn the key wait for the start procedure then pull in clutch press start button then nothing. I've worked out it must be down to a faulty part either clutch switch, starter button or possibly stand switch any advise or ideas would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks Andy

Its a painful problem. You seem to be on the right trail. Try the battery aswel got to be top condition to fire it up. You could also try shorting the solenoid just to see if it fires up. But just clean all those points you mentioned make sure they are working as they should do and I am sure you will conquer through.

    Welcome buddy :)

I had a similar issue on a different bike. The bike came with the cheap Chinese levers and it wasn't engaging the clutch switch. It was very temperamental. Swapped it to the OEM levers and voila...fired up straight away. Then spent the money and bought the Pazzo levers and no issues there.....everything worked fine

Hope you get the bike sorted ;)

There's a sticky thread in tech help you should look at. Start with the battery and no excuses about " it's new last year" or the like.
9 times out of 10 on new bikes with sprag clutches and ECUs.
    Anyway check that thread.
The more info you can give the easier it will be for these boffins to solve your puzzle.
