Just wanted to say "hi" and thank everyone for any help/direction, in the future. In December, I got a zero-miles, 2015 Speed Triple, warranty, at a steal (shop was going out of business). I'm sure I'll need help, moving forward and am glad to find the forum. Hope everyone's well, Joel/JellyBean
Supposed to have my hat in the signature but, it didn't attach. Honk if you see me on 121, if you're in Big-D!
Joel Brown. Welcome to the Family. Sweet looking machine. Great picture. Will keep the inmates happy for a while. Ride Safe Joe.
Welcome to the Asylum you should fit right in. Great colour BLACK. Too keep moving forward hold the clutch in and put into first gear. Tucker
Not like a crazy-great deal but, $8,700. Again, zero miles, warranty. I saw it about a year and half ago and caught it at $10k US. Dropped to $9.5 and just sat. I'd forgotten about it and went-back to the shop and asked the guy "What'd you ever sell that ST for, I always thought that was my bike." and he said they still had it (at $9.5). Too rich for my blood and just on a lark I looked-in again and at $8,700, I just couldn't let someone else have it. My next mod should be simple but, I've NEVER owned a bike with adjustable shocks. This thing is HARD and very jittery at speed. Shakes the helmet, me and my glasses. The Triump guy said they are set around 150lbs (I'm like 290 with gear) and that I can adjust it to be a bit less rebound, which I guess means more smooth. I just need to study. Not sure if that config makes the bike less carvy or what. I REALLY like how nimble it is and I don't want to screw that up. If anyone has suggestions (youtube or ???) where an idiot could "get it", I'd appreciate the help. Triumph wants $75 and all the videos I can find require a physics degree! Anyway, thank you guys for the nice welcome. I'm typically a Honda guys but, have fallen in love with EVERY Triumph and was close to a Thruxton 1200 but, the ST worked out best/first. Hope you're all well. And, thanks again. Joel
