Wife's got a new hobby, it was her birthday recently and she always wanted an old vintage singer sewing machine. To cut a very long story she ended up with six but she was servicing one last night in our lovely clean kitchen, tools all over, degreasent splattered over the table and wingeing that she's lost her screws. I gave her bollocking for the state of the kitchen then said to her now do you understand what it's like to be a biker heh heh?? It's nice to let them loose now and again. It makes them aware of ones passion for fixing!!
Hi TG, you do like living "on the edge" don't you In my 33 years I've found that logic and fairness plays little part in a marriage. You will always be wrong and miraculously your missus will always be right. Venus and Mars mate, Venus and Mars. PS Do you own a stab-proof vest?
Ay up big lad, luckily I don't need a vest as such and we do get on well but I think it's great she's got a mechanical interest as it balances things when I'm in the garage with my fleet. I do think its funny though as all the walls next to the sink was splattered in T-cut as she was using a tooth brush!
I know it sounds a bit sad to say this but I really like those old sewing machines , I was at a village auction recently & there was two there & I had a bid on one , but they both fetched a fair bit & I thought no in the end cos I didnt really know why I wanted one other than I find them fascinating in a strange way lol
