I have just purchased a Shoei GT Air and found that the only way to close the visor fully is to pull it down from the very edge at the top. Opening it again nearly pulls your head off. (slight exaggeration ). Could anyone tell me if this is normal or if the visor can be adjusted at all.
    Thanks

Mine doesn’t work like that, just normal operation.

Don't have any problems with mine either. Suggest you take it back to where you bought it, or your local helmet shop.

I've heard a few folk complaining about how stiff the visor is to open,i must admit mine is not the easiest to open either but you get used to it

Thanks for that. I think that the only adjustment possible is to adjust the sealing.

I had the similar issue with my GT-Air and the pinlock would not work. Kept misting up and it was a pain.

Now I have installed a Invision Hyper shield and seems to do the job nicely.

As for the tight visor operation, I did as per Tiglet's video..... I loosened both base plate and adjusted it. Now it seems to lock in and out ok.

ok, visor too tight solved. now for the pinlock inner visor. pinlock pins, the ones on either side that you slide the slots of the pinlock onto. they ae eccentric. Rotate them so that the silicone bead is a tight fit to the outer visor providing an airtight seal.
