    Cracking bike from late 70's. Weren't there DT175 and DT175MX, not sure what differences were but wasn't the MX monoshock. A group of off roaders around my mum's started a craze and ending up nearly all of them on them.

    Yes Eldon. They started with the twin shock models then later the mono shock. The MX model had the higher clearance front mudguard

    I had a 175 mx in blue,but with the round bar swinging arm, wish I still had it now.

    Yes Glynn that was the model I was picturing. There must have been half a dozen or so around my mum's in the late 70's early 80's. Ideal green lane fun bike with short commuting possible.

    Not a 175 but there’s a 250 at The Bike Specialists in Sheffield, looks good but they want top dollar for it (£50 change from 4K !)

    Yes, seen that one, that’s the MX version. It’s the trail one I’m after with the low front mudguard and slightly different styling

    Dts are fetching strong money I had a dt250 mx years ago Saudi import,great bike if you got the knack of starting it the kick back it gave was shocking,I actually snapped s kickstart and took a chunk off flesh off my ankle once fucking sore one that l.o.l
