Hello from confused of Swansea

Morning my given name is Mike and as the title says I am a little confused at the moment I am trying to decide between a Scrambler and a T100 .

My heart says Scrambler my head says T100 .

Both have pluses but only one has a minor negative so I really am torn.

 

Morning,only you can choose the right bike for you.
Ride both and see which you prefer.
I'd go for the Bonnie personally as I think it handles slightly better but the Bonnie can be a bit on the short side.
You pay's your money you takes your choice.

 

I have ridden both and apart from not liking the handlebars on the T100 I like both very much. I think in the end it may just come down to which colour I like best lol

 

You can always change the bars on the bonnie - I did for lower and narrower lsl ones.

 

I looked at other bars I might just get a set of scrambler bars if/when I decide lol

 

You have to ride both.

The characteristic of the engines are totally different.

I like to ride the Scrambler, but living with it is another matter.

My T100 is great and I love her, more than my TEX. Only downsides of the T100 is it can feel cramped if you have long legs and the ride is more harsh than the TEX/

The bars are perfect for me, riding position is OK, handling is good, its more of a plodder than a Sunday blast bike.

Then there is the smile after riding the T100 to consider.

My TEX will be sold before my T100.

 

Just on looks I prefer the Scrambler but I've only ridden a T100 which I felt was too low and cramped for me but I'm 6'3"

 

I have Scrambler shocks on the Bonnie now - 20mm longer than stock, and will be fitting Scrambler front and rear mudguards when they are painted.

I forgot to add that due to a replacement part mishap I had a Scrambler for 4 days. It was great fun with one very quiet roundabout taking five orbits to go around before I had to leave it due to traffic, its a punchy engine with great handling but does not feel as well made as the Bonnie.

I am 5-10 and my T100 is a bit cramped but as it is not for touring then for everyday and weekend use it is ideal.

You pays your money and takes your choice.

Well I'm not confused any longer as of the 1st of March I will be the proud owner of a Bonneville T100 Black

 

I have already started looking at mods

I brought my 1050 only last year the previous owner has added some nice mods ,but I can't seen to stop searching and buying more

Hi mike and welcome to the Forum.

When buying a Bonnie or a Scrambler these bikes are sort of like a blank canvas as there are so many different after-market parts you can get for these bikes, with companies like British Customs, LSL, Roland Sands and Zard to name a few that you can add to so you can get the bike you want. Here are a couple of bikes we have done at the shop I work at lately and they look fantastic.
