That is a lovely bike and I think it looks great in black.

Thanks! Had my heart set on a Matte Silver version but this came up (lightly used) and I went for it. NO regrets!!

I think you made the right choice in the colour, black always looks good.

    Lovely
Lovely bike DaFoole, do you get any wind noise under the screen?

Actually no. I was worried about that but (as I have learned after too many years) you WANT flow under a screen to prevent turbulence and it seems to do that nicely. Very slight helmet buffet at 75+ otherwise very nice. As it adjusts up and down (as well as fore and aft) I played with it until it was right for me. Not my favorite look but as it's winter it will be staying place.

I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer the grey engine cases to the later black ones.

Just brought mine home yesterday. Bought in VA and rode back into MD about 50 miles. Gerbings heated gear kept me toasty!

I think I could have done the temperature, I was just cringing at all the salt. I live out in Loudoun and they've been salting the roads out here like we live in Fairbanks or something.

I live in Frederick, MD and bought the bike at M/C of Dulles. I figured the rain we had washed most of the salt off the road. But I ride the Harley on roads after a good salting and haven't had any issues yet. Made detours on way home in Leesburg for lunch and then to Breaux to meet friends. Love this new bike, but I hate VA traffic.
