Hi all, I’m a new member to the forum and, Triumph ownership.
I bought a 2013 lunar silver mag wheel bonnie about three weeks ago, and am really loving it!

I’d post a picture, but would you believe I’ve not taken a single one? I’ve been too busy riding / cleaning it

Welcome to the Family. Got all the best patients here and the medication isn't bad either. Nursey comes round regular. Especially when a patron forgets to post a picture. We start to shake and fall of our walking sticks with anticipation.

Thanks for the very warm welcome, guys!

I promise to post up some pics as soon as I’ve received my Motone and TEC bike parts orders - I just couldn’t help myself

Do any of you guys have the TEC sprint, 2 - 2 exhaust fitted?
I really like the look of it, although I’d have it ceramic coated black - I’m just worried it’s too much of hooligan, sound wise.
I have the Arrow 2-1 on mine - which I like - but I really like the twin pipe look, while still leaving access for chain adjustment.

Hi and welcome dirty, I also like the twin pipes as it stands out against the 2-1 and gives a clean look from both sides on a bonnie.
    Looking forward to some pix

Hi, thanks for the pics, that is one lovely bike you have and I think the exhaust suits the bike. Bet it sounds nice too.

    Thanks, Justin.

It sounds nice with the baffle in, and a bit of a hooligan with it out :imp:

    Hi Phil,

Where are you buying the 60th anni from?
A very close friend and riding partner has been using Ongar Motorcycles for many years and highly recommends them - even though East London Triumph is our local dealer (was Jack Lilly).

I popped into ELT for a nose about a few weeks ago and even though I was the only ‘potential customer’ in the building, not one staff member acknowledged me. But when I popped into OM’s I was offered a friendly hello and tea or coffee with minutes of being there.

Good luck with 60th either way, and maybe we’ll meet up for coffee and a chat sometime..

    Andy.

I will probably use ELT as I have bought my previous three bikes from them. Your experience is the complete opposite to mine. Ongar Motorcycles annoyed me a bit when I wanted to buy a Daytona 685. The salesman insisted I was "too old to ride a Sportbike". I laughed it off at first but he said it half a dozen times and eventually I told him where to go. I eventually bought the Daytoms from what was then North City Triumph, Chigwell, which moved to Romford and changed their name to Jack Lilly and now East London Triumph. A few years ago I did write to the boss in Romford complaining about their service. He invited me in for a chat and since then I think they have improved immensely. ELT offer me everything I need, including a cup of coffee and salesman Steve always greets me and my wife (he knows she has the money) by our first names.

I will probably go to the Carole Nash show at Excel to have a look at the bike if ELT don't get a model in.

It was a toss up between the Bonnie and Thruxton R. I think it will be the Bonnie as I'm "too old" for a sportbike.
