    Hi all,

Just bought myself a classic (nearly!) RS, MY2000 - bringing back memories of the Daytona and Triple I owned in the late 90's early 2000's.

First ride out tomorrow after 2 weeks of fettling. Some would say the 'lemon' of the early 955i range but I like to think of it as individual! Beauty is in the eye and all that!

    Glad to be aboard.

    Photo - hopefully...

Its factory standard, 8000 miles from new. A few minor paint scuffs, otherwise in really condition.

Just fitted heated grips (cause I'm old) and a centre stand (lazy!) oil / filter change and its ready to go.

Hi Mate and welcome, nothing wrong with the Sprint RS, I had one in 1999 after having Trident Sprint, then a Sprint ST, kind of stepping stone before going the whole sports bike route via a 955 Daytona.
Post some pictures when you get a chance it helps the lazy ones who can't be arsed to read!

EDIT - Well done you posted a photo by the time I got message written!

    Thanks All.

I bought this as a winter bike but its a bit too nice really!

Not sure if I should pass it on and get something else, something more scruffy for our salted roads. I was looking for a big single trails bike, XT or KLX but this just came up.

    Thoughts???
