Right I've been scratching my head with this one for a few days and trapsing the internet I cannot find any information so some light shed on the matter will be extremely helpful. When I bought the bike it had no heat shield on and came with the scorpion can which can be seen in the pictures, last weekend I purchased a carbon heat shield for my bike and either I've been done over with the measurements or I'm clearly missing a part somewhere. As you can clearly see the bolts don't align and it seems something must be missing but I cannot tell what part I need or if I am to just make some custom bracket to fit this but surely there must be an easy alternative.
I beleive that you need this part at least. There is mounting points for carbon part. In stock heat shield mounted to the exhaust end can. Not to the tray.
Watson_675 The can I don't know if that is just loose fitted. But from what I can remember from my Boys bikes the can sits right under the light. I will ask him when I see him next as he has two racing machines and builds them regularly. Ride Safe Joe.
