HI All. I went for a short ride the other day (without the panniers) , and when I got home I noticed that the pannier guide bar was half hanging out of the support tube !! the ball knob on the end of the shaft had come off !!! Does anyone have a spare one I could buy, or does anyone know where I could purchase one ??? Ive looked on ebay and other sites but nothing available. It measures 37mm dia.

This is an earlier photo showing the guide / slide bar in position. I have now lost the right hand ball knob

Yes , I've seen the link before - as you say … ouch !. I may get a 40 dia knob and have it turned down to correct dia. Thanks for your help.

Anyone help. It's only a quick measure with a vernier or a straight edge and tape measure. I will be fitting new ball ends so i need the overall distance to ensure they will fit the panniers etc. Thanks .... m

Would your local triumph dealer have one in?
You could pop round and measure I’m sure they wouldn’t mind :)

Finally remembered to take a measurement and mine is 300mm from outer edge to outer edge.
