    Yippeeeeeeeer

I've retired, so after working since 1967 and 25 different jobs I have completed my last contract and decided to pull the plug on those early starts, the days dealing with people who should not be paid in brass washers, the rampant bureaucracy, the totally unrealistic goals, budgets that are totally inadequate and Idiot Managers, well I could write a book about all the incompetent ones I have come across in the last forty odd years, so its all over.

Bring on the Spring, the longer days, the longer rides, the open roads (well as open as the roads are in the UK.

Have a great festive season guys.......be safe out there

Come on then Col, what's the new sideline to keep you occupied, bike trip planner? I don't mind following good routes if you want to create them, heh heh. Eric

Well I usually have two weeks off work over Christmas and the New Year as I was involved in the building industry and so followed their closedown period the net result is that I am not expecting to start feeling retired until after the 5 th January when I would have normally returned to work.

Golf, gardening, refurbish our Kitchen and Ensuite, want to get back into RC flying, walking, photography and of course the bikes. Probably be selling the Explorer and staying with the Bonnie as I di not expect to tour on the bike again due to my Wifes hip troubles, so t will be day trips into the Lakes, Dales, Pennines and Peaks, being in central Lancashire it does not take me long to get to some stunning roads and fantastic views

Busy man then. Take it you mix cameras and bikes? Where's your favourite area to ride as I seem to favour north Derbyshire Peak District at the moment since I've only lived near for last few years?
