Bonjour ! Fellow owners and soon-to-be-owners, I'm proud to say I joined the Triumph family last saturday with a 09 Bonneville EFi black edition ! After a couple years of riding in 2014-15 (on a cheap 500 GSE), I had to put my motorcycle "career" on hold when I left for sunny California for 2 years, but I'm now back in France and more important, back behind (handle)bars ! I'm looking forward to seeing you around the forums ! Cheers. (It is my understanding that the asylum members require a photo tribute when joining the tribe, so here you go. Apologies for the quality of the photo, long workdays and daylight savings time don't make it easy to snap a picture.)
Welcome to the Asylum you should fit right in Great choice of Colour BLACK . Oh and the Bike's OK Tucker
Welcome aboard JS, you're getting the idea of our lil ol forum straight away, hope you enjoy your stay and have fun on that new steed of yours, just curious to know why you didn't ride whilst in Cali, was it the constant, day in, day out warmth and sunshine that put you off
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome ! I'm sure I'll fit in, and I plan on doing some work on the bike so I'll def need your enlightening advices ! Haha mostly because I spent my first year broke as a student (those scholarship prices...), and I was too busy with work the second year to get my license (the learners permit you have in Europe the first 2 years doesn't work in the US). Going back for a cross-country roadtrip is definitely on my list though.
Enough said JS, quite understandable, well you're onboard and ready to roll now so have fun and take care.
