Hello all , just joined the forum as i think it will be usefull for advice later as i intend to purchase a 2006 Daytona 955i and ride again after 20 years out of the saddle . I had sports bikes before such as the Honda Fireblade and used to do trackdays etc . I fancied a British bike this time and something that will soon be a classic but still sporty enough to enjoy riding for a few hours when i have time and the weather looks good . Hello again . So finally got an as new 2006 Daytona 955i with only 3 ,100 on the clock . Now safely stored with tank drained and waiting for the good weather . Will get Clive Wood to look after it for me when the time comes . Meanwhile i am saving up to get the leathers " modified " as they seem to have shrunk about 4" whilst up in the loft for 15+ years . I now want an early t595 to keep it company but again need to start saving the pennies . Have fun . Bikertubby .
