Hi, this is the first time I have ever joined a forum. I am Jim Kostromin. I have been riding bikes since I was 10. I am now 55. I recently bought a Triumph Sprint 1050 ST and I live it. I have absolutely no idea on how to use this forum site so I apologise if I make a mistake or offend anyone.
Do yourself a favour/favor, grab a copy of Bill Bryson's 'Made in America' on the origins of many American words. It's truly a cracking read. Some parts of New England iirc preserve much of the language and spellings brought over by the original settlers from Shakespeare's time and so can be said to be more true to English than we English are. And btw, much of the archaic and crazy spelling in English originates with Middle Ages monks who decided to 'Latinize/Latinise' the 'common' spelling of the Anglo-Saxons so as to make it posher. Blame the monks and their French overlords.
@Jim Kostromin and you are more than welcome to GMU too mate. It's our annual picnic and Jack Daniel's tasting event. All are welcome including Irish Muslims who forget to bring their prayer mat.
Or keeping it simple, from the Consise Oxford English Dictionary - 'The difference between tyre and tire'. 1. A Tyre Rubber ring that fits round a wheel of a vehicle e.g. motorcycle tyre 2. A Tire What you wear.
Really? That's what he told you. All the evidence from the photo suggests Andy's a forgetful closet Muslim, either that or there has to be some other likely explanation than 'standing guard' for his @rse being bared to the other occupants of the room (who shall remain nameless to preserve the dignity of Mr.O and DD)
Back to you Jim, welcome aboard mate, hope you enjoy the forum and your new steed, gets some pics on asap, it'll calm them down
Jim??? Who's this Jim? We got a new inmate then? ....Welcome in Jim ......... ..............Has he gone already?
