What was shown in FMJ, had nothing on my Special Forces "Green Beret' training I went through because they literally tried to kill me three times..." one-hundred men will test today, but only three will win the Green Beret". The first day of my SF training started with 157 guys, the second day only 27 guys still in the class (130 quit the first day), and we graduated the first Phase with 23 guys 6 weeks later. Then another year of training to graduate the complete course (all three Phases). Of the phase one class, I was in, only me and another medic finished the whole course. And coincidently, both of us had been track team Pole Vaulters and skiers during High school before joining the US Army. For me, where I came from - I'd rather die than go back a failure or quitter! Like Zak Mayo in Officer and a Gentleman said to USMC Gunny SGT Foley, "I've got nowhere else to go"... ...and US Army Basic training was nothing compared to US Army 6-weeks Warrant Officer Candidate Course and the followup right after Warrant Officer Initial Entry (helicopter) Flight school (combined about 1 year of hell).
That brings back a lot of memories. Also retired from the Army about a decade ago after a career in aviation maintenance. I hope you enjoy your Trophy as much as I enjoy mine. I also have a 2017 model but in the faster black color. Enjoy and keep us posted on things.
Top Gun ?, girlies film. Besides, have you seen Kelly now ?, looks like she ate the local MC Donald's and had the KFC for desert.
