Yes unfortunately a bike that you can't ride is an ornament, not what you spent your hard earned cash for, The Triumph Speed RS seems to be suffering an abnormal amount of these sorts of problems , you really would expect them to sort this quickly . Hard luck mate, hope it gets sorted soon.
Yeah very sad about it all currently. Missing the last few days of sunshine too. What makes the situation worse is triumph sent a low loader to collect the bike to a dealer. Even the rac man attending said it wasn’t a suitable vehicle and would likely damage the bike so I refused to let them. Are triumph a premium brand??? Where has the customer service gone. Now I am waiting and hoping that a local triumph will collect in a van. My biggest problem is that triumph have release a bike which cuts out at high sped intermittently. It’s just dangerous and I will be raising my concerns to them directly to try and force a produce recall. Wish me luck!!
It is surprising, but there were a lot of changes made to this years model, I guess the switch gear had to be new to accommodate all the new bells & whistles, but as you said it has had years of evolution. The Street 765 RS was a more radical shift from the previous 675 model but I had no issues with mine, when you consider it was the first to have the TFT dash and 5 different modes to choose, yet no problems?
That beard is inferior to my luscious hirsute shrubbery. No breakdown recovery required. Aprilia's invariably breakdown whilst still at home, before you even get out of the garage !!!
