    Hi im new to the forum.just brought a triumph America after ten years without a bike and i love riding it.

    Hello to another America owner :smile: A very underrated bike, fast enough to hold its own on a motorway and happy around the back lanes or in town. I've done 13k in the past year including a 2500 mile to France and Switzerland. Just needs a few extra BHP :wink:

    I am going to replace the silencer on my bike though as it is too quiet.people cant hear you coming almost got knocked off.

    Has anyone got the triumph aftermarket silencer.(high flow long chrome slash cut) for the America.if so how loud is it.

    hiya , nice looking bike :cool: - I've got slash cuts on mine & it sounds loverly (I think so anyway) - I don't think they're too loud though , neighbours might disagree at 6am but I say go for it
