Furthermore, I know for a fact that Scotland has hugely benefited from the EU - multimillion piers built in Invaray in Loch Nevis and on the Isle of Muck in the inner isles for example. Built for a handful of people. It's not all bad, surely? I do agree on the apparent inconsistent abiding by all sorts of rules though. And lots of other stupid stuff, like moving the centre of government every six months. But there we are.

What really pees me off is that nobody - NOBODY - in this country voted for EU membership. We voted for membership of the ECM - a common market. The only people that voted for the EU were the bloody members of - guess what - the European parliament!
