They look so much better anyway, would I need a relay for these to work on my bike? If yours are for sale what costs would be involved please? Thanks
Exactly Andy...your originals look over-sized and out of proportion attached to the new tidy. Given that we simply swapped them over on the Daytona with no trouble, I'm pretty sure they're plug and play. Let me dig them out of the garage (the rears are still attached to the old tail untidy) and I'll drop you a PM and get them posted to you ASAP. Try them and see...there's no charge.
Here’s an idea if you want to get rid of the turn signals completely. https://www.motodynamic.com/2011-20...e-r-s-rs-sequential-led-tail-light-smoke.html
But we can all guess which would cause the most unwanted attention here in the UK. I met a guy the other day who had reversed the bars on his XSR-900 (so they dropped down low), removed the front and rear indicators, and fitted a very thin opaque LED strip around the tail that housed the stop/tail light and indicators. It had a baffle-out Akrapovic too. Admittedly, it looked great! However, he said it "rode like shit" as the bar grips were by his knees and he'd stopped short of fitting a tiny numberplate as he didn't want to push his luck. I wonder if he's been stopped yet
I liked the look of rear turns, but I've thought about adding this in addition to the turns. Just wire them in parallel and see how it goes.
