Put the thermal lining back in my gear before going out today. Winter gloves too. Always feels bulky after the summer, but I was warm as toast. :upyeah: (Lots of leaves around too, but at least it's dry out there at the mo.)
Make the most of it mate, the **** stuff is coming ! My Bonnie is going in my spare bedroom for the winter, hoping to make a few 'improvements' 1 more month of tax left then thats it for me.
I'm in the process of getting our spare bedroom ready for when the tax runs out on the Bonnie ! Shifting the bed out, 8x4 sheet of ply on the floor, and tools in  Hoping to be able to spend a few quid on 'improvements' in the comfort and warmth over the winter period.
Hah, nice one. Trust the spare bedroom is downstairs!! (I'll be in the garage, but it's an integral part of the house, so never gets too cold in there.)
Really ? whereabouts ? We only bought ours in March this year, i wish i'd done it years ago, we love it :upyeah:
Sounds like you will be busy in the winter months I still ride when the weather permits yes your bike gets a bit dirty but it's still heaps of fun You guys don't know what your missing
Ha ha, i do ! I only passed my car test in 2000, before that i rode everyday no matter what the weather did. I used to have an old GSX400 painted matte black which simply refused to die, this was my winter bike, leaving my other bikes all nice and clean in the garage. These days, when its wet and cold the climate control in the car kicks in leaving the bike in the warm and dry  My old bones dont do the cold anymore...:frown:
Still pretty warm here in Leicestershire at the moment. We did a 300 miles round trip through mid and north Wales yesterday. Only real problem were the gusty winds.
No winter gloves or jacket liner yet here in the balmy south  150 miles yesterday with the only issue being the Dartford crossing and the M23 roadworks
