Hi, everyone. I’m a long time motorcyclist and motorbike enthusiast, but have never yet owned a Triumph. I’ve owned bikes from all four Japanese manufacturers, Moto Guzzi, BMW and a handful of Aprilias. Last week I traded in my 2013 RSV4 for a brand new Bonneville T120. Pretty similar bikes, really. The Bonneville is competition green and white. Or at least I think it is, since all I have right now is a slim black envelope that says Triumph on it and a much lighter wallet. I’ll have it next Wednesday I think, once they pull it out of the crate. I’m really stoked!
Hello and welcome, I hope you have lots of fun with your new bike. There’s a wide variety of people on here but I’ve not come across any who think an RSV4 is similar to a T120.
I think you’ll find that is Pacific NW irony....... Love WA State and its roads. Has a very a Scandinavian feel to it including the drizzle! Nearly drowned rafting in the Skykomish so I think you will appreciate riding those river valley twisties on a languid big twin. Enjoy!
Welcome in, hope you enjoy your bike, when you get it! I’ve heard that the Triumph crate opening gang are going on an indefinite strike from Tuesday!
Welcome to the Asylum you should fit right in. To keep the inmates happy when you get you're new bike we will need photos. Tucker
I’ll be happy to oblige. Assuming there is indeed a new bike and that “Triumph of Seattle” isn’t a scam . Cause really all I’ve got right now is less money. But I’m an optimist.
Have faith/ look on the bright side if you have no bike at least you will have a lovely box to Bury the body's in . Tucker
Welcome from Sunny California. I am also new to Triumph with a 2018 Street Twin and loving it. I also used to live in the Seattle area (Bellevue). Seattle is a great city. Enjoy your new T120.
This is the eighth day since I wrote the check. I'm finally starting to get impatient! It's 75F today, sunny, not a cloud in the sky. And 72F tomorrow before the rains begin on Sunday. I'm a big Sounders (Seattle football/soccer team) fan and I'd really like to ride my new bike to the game tomorrow afternoon!
Welcome aboard Jet, hope you enjoy your new steed, I'm sure it'll be with you shortly, though I don't think you'll notice much difference between the Triumph and RSV4
Jet. Hope for your sake its not a scam. But surely you did some home work to check out the dealer or talked to the shop. But welcome to the Family. Keep us all in the know of how you like your new steed. Ride Safe Joe.
