Hi All I plan to do all ongoing servicing to my bikes including my triumph . I bought it new from Jack Lilley''s in Shepperton in 1996 and have kept it in show room condition and only done 5k miles to date ( my brother bought the same model and colour on the same day at the same dealer). I welcome any feedback, hints and tips about the maintenance of this bike and look forward to catching up on all the events and activities in the triumph world!
Welcome mate, I love mine had him years. My advice is don't follow the Haynes manual for the oil change.... I once done half an oil change due to there guidance
Welcome, Julian. Make sure the battery is fully charged at all times. Change oil and filter regularly. Get a K&N air filter (or similar) as a 'fit and forget' option. If it's owt like the Trident, the air filter box will be a bugger to get at! Oh ...... and ride the feckin' thing!!!! Enjoy.
Hi and congratulations on your choice of motorcycle . They are wonderful bikes. Mine has covered 52,000 happy miles , it's proudest moment so far being airfreighted to Canada and going to Alaska. I do all my own servicing so ask away.
