Hello all, little introduction...... I recently moved from Harley to Triumph in a controversial to most (harley owners vs triumph owners hey) decision. I loved my sportster and had it for 3 good years, it wasn't quick, it didn't handle particularly well and it wasn't comfy but it had that little something that made it very special to me. Boy did it draw attention..... However something happened in 2017 when I 1st saw the Thruxton R for the 1st time. I knew I'd have one but wanted to let it marinade for a while, let any new release issues get out of the system and let the aftermarket parts guys catch up. This summer I got the deal I was after and it was time for the Harley to go off to a new owner and I got myself my new ride!! High bars 9" + 1.5" risers with forward controls on the harley to rear sets and clip-ons was a shock to the system but it was everything I wanted and more, it had power, could corner and boy could it stop....... All things the Harley didn't do. It attracts attention from bikers, very positive attention but nowhere near as much from pedestrians and non-bikers. I'm ok with that as it makes my cheeks ach from smiling too much. Sorry for the long intro. Here's a picture

Hi Andy, welcome from another new member. I can confirm that, like your Thruxton, my Cranberry Red Street Twin (which I've had for just over 2 weeks), is an attention grabber. I've had guys in cars at traffic lights wind their windows down to just tell me that the bike looks awesome. And always nice to see older guys out walking pick up the exhaust note as you approach and turn to watch you go past, probably remembering bikes of their youth. Fek, I've just realised I've just described myself to a tee.......
And welcome from me too. My Softail has been sorned and hiding in the back of the garage now all my riding is done on my new T100.
