Hi, Does anybody have this problem. When handlebars in full lock there's no slack on the throttle. When handlebars are straight then there's a good 1/4" slack in the throttle, It's annoying as when I blip the throttle to down change all I seem to be doing is just taking up the slack on the throttle instead of blipping the engine revs. Cheers Gary My other bikes never did this.
Check that the throttle cables aren't rubbing anywhere as there was a thread about this earlier in the year I think. Cheers Steve

My last machine was a 2012 Speed Triple and I don't remember any issues like you describe. Has the previous owner fitted non standard bars or bar risers? Its also worth checking a that the throttle cable not been tie wrapped to the frame or other items when work has been done; restricting it's length.
