How do I disable the alarm.

    I'm sure the alarm is adding to my starting problems as the battery keeps dying.
    I've replaced it. It's still not starting.

    Rip the horrible little thing off, they cause no end of problems. What bike is it. There is usually a plug, if FI, that you simply plug in to the loom where the alarm is attached in place, and take a 5lb hammer to the alarm:upyeah:

    It's a thunderbird 900 1996.
    I've eventually found my problem.
    As usual it's user error.
    I didn't realise the alarm kicks in even when the ignition is on.
    I've been disabling, it getting the bike out, and putting me gear on then trying to start
    It sounds like its going to start but I eventually flood the engine and drain the battery.

    Now I know, it's start first time.

    I may still smash the alarm at some point..

    ooohhhh, more of a bitch to remove from that..........:eek:













    only kidding..Would not know where to start with a carb model. I have just done this to my daytona, that was a simple plug and smash:biggrin: what make alarm is it and is it triumph fitted.
