I am fitting new LED indicators to my Storm.
Can anyone tell me if i can simply change the relay to an LED relay, if so where is it!! or do i need to go down the route of resistors if so do i need a resistor for each light or can i use one for the left and one for the right?

Usually an plastic wrapped or insulated resistor built into the wiring for each indicator, mate
    Hope it helps

    Round your way!
Far easier to get a specific LED relay, resistors look messy and create a fault liability (i:e something else to fail, x4)

There is no relay to swap over....inline resistor is the way.
You can do without resistor, but the blink rate will increase and may not meet your road rules.

The question is for a TBird Storm, that idea may be suitable for the previous model TBird, but not from 2009 on.

TBirds have been notoriously finicky when it comes to load equalizers. All work fine with the engine off but with the engine running, the ECU gets confused and the turn signals freeze up. Do a temp setup before you mount any resistors.
I gave up on resistors and live with the faster blink rate, >120/minute which does not meet road rules here, but I’ll wear that if I get picked up. They emit and turn off light immediately. End.
    Try www.thunderbird1600.com excellent info there.
