We often get rozers on bikes drop in to our place for a brew, including some armed response lads. Proper serious guns on their hips.

Started off with a couple of Bombardier, then a Leffe Blonde with crisps; after that was a tasty snack of meats and cheeses accompanied with a nice red. Now just rounding off with a couple of glasses of Port.

    Am going to bed soon........................................

    Coors light,

Been for a wood fired pizza from a wagon near the beach, then went for a walk along the beach with the dog.

A WORD OF WARNING FOR ALL ALCOHOL DRINKERS

Yesterday no.1 son and I stopped of at my local micro-brewery, the Bankers Draft on Bedford High Street where we each quaffed a pint each of their delicious golden ale, and stout over a couple of games of cribbage in their delightful beer garden.

Then we built up a thundering thirst on a pleasant walk along the river and round the Priory Marina lake. So, needs must, we stopped off at the Beefeater for a much need thirst quencher. But all they had on tap was Doombar and London Pride. Nowt wrong with Pride on the right mood-enhancing occasion, but we really did need rapid-acting thirst quenchers. So we opted for the only cider on tap. Thatchers Gold. Medium dry it said. Jeez, it was like drinking the sweetest of sweet sugary fizzy piss. Yeeeeuuuk!!!! I'm stil trying to get rid of the foul after taste.

    Well, not tonight, but anyway:

We Germans have a tradition called Frühschoppen (no, not free-shopping) which can be translated into
    Early Pint.
You build a big tent (a must), take a brass band and about 200 people, wait until the clock strikes 10:00 a.m. and then you are set.
The band starts palying, the folks start drinking until we all like each other.
One or two girls start dancing on the wooden benches and tables while the rest drools happily into their mugs.
I think, the last time, I attended was at the age of 12 with my granddad and since I only had Fanta, I did
    not really grasp the concept.

    TODAY, I try again :p:D:cool:

    Prost!
