For a 2011 Speed Triple, I would recommend a new rear unit sprung to your weight and with the adjustment for preload, compression and rebound...so the Nitron NTR2 should meet your needs here. The NTR3 would only add the ability for high speed adjsutment to rebound & comression
For the front, a good service, replace the oil and new springs for your weight. I wouldn't think it need new valve/piston kit. I understand the front on the 2011 has adjustment for compressiona and rebound on each leg anyway.
Then most important of all, have it set up for your weight and riding style.

Shouldn't cost you more than £800ish

I know you'll need to do the currency conversion here from USD to UK. I spent $ 800 USD and this was for all the K-Tech front internals (springs, valves, piston) and 4 hours of labor. I am getting a custom spring for the rear shock from Eibach. I love the K-Tech product and support from Chris there in the U.K.
That said, Maxton is some very good kit and if you have the extra cash it looks pretty sweet to me.
I have zero experience with MCT or Bike HPS.

I think Maxton RT10 would be the way to go forward. I am hearing really good reviews.

I ride only in the weekends and some are asking....hey you are wasting your money on suspension because of lack of use.

My thoughts are....even though I only ride weekends.....a good handling bike will give you that enjoyment and you can't put a price on that satisfaction.

I am in 2 minds (spend or not spend) :-(. Let's see how this pans out. Wish I was rich :)

Improved handling has to be one of the best mods you can do.
It doesn't matter how much power or how good a rider you are,if it won't go round a corner it's not much good.

Maxton R10 and Maxton front. Clive Wood uses this on his race Daytona. I also have other friends who race triumphs and use Maxton. I have Maxton in mine as well.

Just out of interest but is it a difficult job to fit yourself? Cheers

When I had my sprint. I spoke to Hagon who talked me through front and back as I believe you have to do both. And yes it changed to whole bike. In corners you could feel the bike and it seemed even when I messed up the bike gripped and righted it self. Yes I believe it makes all the difference. All dealers will go for the cheapest version of suspension that really doesn't suit every one. But most good suspension builders will build around you and your habits.

Before splashing money see if the std suspension can be tuned to your riding style. Failing that then aftermarket suspension is the way to go forward. There is nothing like a good handling bike... You will confidently take her through corners and a big grin to go with it And that is priceless ;)

Std or aftermarket suspension needs to be followed with a set up with someone who knows what they are doing. Not the kind of idiots who will just tweak it here and there, charge you and send you on your way. A good specialist will weigh you, make you sit on the bike and he/she will take the bike for a spin and do the necessary adjustments on the go. Then you will be asked to take the bike for a spin. If you have any issues they will deal with your requirements or explain clearly and work with you pleasantly.

The guy who does this job for me even tells me to bring the bike back to him in 6 months time for any adjustments required AND 6 MONTHS RETURN IS FREE OF CHARGE ;)

    All the best :)

Fitting is straight forward providing you have the correct stands, torque wrench and tools. Soon as you release the rear shock the swingarm will go down. I changed it on my previous bikes using Abba stand and paddock to keep the swingarm in place.

The way I did it might not be necessarily the right way. Best wait to hear from others members who are more mechanically tuned ;)

Hi there, in answer to your question. I could not get s nice compliant ride with my speedy and it turned out that there was not enough adjustments for my weight at 81kg. So I upgraded to an Ohlins rear shock and fork internals by Ktech which I then paid for professional set up. I have to say it made a huge improvement, regards lucas 60

KTEC are the tops or as close to it as you will get that is why the race boys use them ohlins again used by pro's. But again for people street riding Hagon will build a shock around you weight style and pillions they ask all these bits before building them. And i think just a little cheaper. But any good shock builder can completely change the handling of your machine and it is in my humble opinion money well spent after all its our necks out there riding the bike. And really anyone just buying a shock from a shelf is wasting their money. Are you track daying with your bike.
    Regards
    Joe
