Just back from day out, excellent result for England. Only seen highlights / goals and they looked good. Had my doubts about Southgate as manager, but he looks to have brought them together as a team. Well done to him, to bring a bunch of relatively inexperienced international players together. But we'll see against a serious contender in Belgium.
Belgium have some quality players and it will show how good or bad we are against good opposition. Personally I think we will go down 3-1, hope not but the defence look suspect. In fact its been suspect for quite a few years now.

It was good too see England win,i think the comentators were quite reserved about the win though compared to what Scotland would have been like! it got me thinking about 1978 when according to all the Scottish media we were going to win the world before it had started.. this Classic song made number 6 in the charts!

This is the best England team since '98, which is remarkable because apart from Kane, there is no one special. From '86 to 2010, we had some amazing players, but they just didn't work together. Seems the opposite at the moment. Glorious failure in the QF, here we come

Yes, they are both good. I really enjoy football too. After last night, not sure if it can get more "last-minute" tonight. If Spain had finished second last night, that could have been Spain, Brazil, France, Belgium, and Germany all on that side of the 2nd round draw!
Its starting to get good now the knockouts are getting near. . Been some great games though saying that . still seems strange without Italy and Holland .
