So I went to pick up my 2 project bikes today. Both 900 sprints, both in pieces, both missing bits, haven't got a clue what is there and what is not. I know I am missing 2 tanks, 1 set of plastics and a miracle :) As I didn't take them apart I have no idea how they go together - Haynes manual is on order. I have found a big lot of parts I need for sale but struggling to find a courier that will charge less than twice the price of the bits! Oh well, I never said it would be easy. Here's how it got back home, some numpty came down a country lane at about 60 and I had to brake hard and swerve - not a good start. P1060890.JPG

Where are your parts and where do you want them? Between us we may well be able to relay them to you.

They are up in bonny Scotland - Alloa. I have found a courier, just trying to coordinate with the seller. I reckon I'm still getting a bargain so it's all good :) Blody kind offer though, for which I thank you.

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

I don’t think that sprocket fits onto the rear tyre as in your pic, isn’t it suppose to have one of those chain things round it :confounded:

Welcome to the forum! You'll surely be able to get some help from the other members, but I would start your project with a very large bottle of tequila if I were you:) After you finish dancing naked to the music in your head and howling at the moon, you'll have a perfect vision and blueprint for the finished bike:grinning: I swear that it works every time.

Welcome in Mate, would love to have a project but think I'll have to wait for retirement or the sack, whichever comes first!

I'm really luck there because I'm unemployable :) I'm starting to think I might have screwed up and paid too much for this lot. I'm missing loads of parts to make up even 1 bike. From a very brief look this morning I need at least a front brake master cylinder / lever, same for the clutch, I think there is a link rod or something missing from the swing arm and I have no rear calipers. There are loads of things I have only 1 of eg instruments, rear shock assembly, God knows what I will find as I go forwards with it. I need 2 tanks with taps - I have the caps. I think I need a lie down now. Or maybe I should finish the Honda Magna I started last month :)

There is nearly one bike and nearly another bike with nearly most of the bits nearly there. Apart from the missing bits, of course. Of which there are plenty. I have more bits coming which will hopefully be nearly all of the bits I need to nearly complete the second bike. Anybody got any valium?
