I suffer with a bad back and now a numb bum even after not too many miles, are the Airhawk seats any good as I don't want to shell out decent money to find its all sales hype, any comments appreciated.

I hear the trick with them is to not inflate them top high, but many long distance riders rate them.
I bought a gel seat pad that velcroed over the standard seat but just could not get on with it, also beware that the air hawk will sit you higher and therefore make it more difficult to reach the floor if you are at all short legged or tall biked

The OE replacement gel seats are supposed to be good, never sat on one but they look good too and won't change the riders height
