Hi, I recently took the tank off my Triumph America for a re-spray, it was off of the bike for a few weeks. Now I have re-fitted it the alarm will not de-activate, I have checked all of the connections but I am trying to find out if anyone else has ever had this problem? Thanks for reading this. Brian
My first wild guess would be that there is a tamper switch, (a tiny microswitch) that needs to "feel" the tank or seat touching it.. have a look, mine is next to the seat locking pin but its down to where the dealer installed it. Martin
