HI I've just has a set of Tor's pipes fitted to my 2007 America (carb) model , nice sound but I've noticed when I roll back on the throttle its sometimes back fires or pop's ................ do I need to have the carbs re tunned ........ also the side stand gets snagged when I put it out , is this the norm or bad fitting ?...................sorry new to all this appreciate any advice / comments , a Newbee and Novice forum member !
Hi and welcome to the forum , have you got long or short ,I have long ones and don't seem to have any problem with the side stand and you might have to get some adjustment on the carbs ,I was lucky and doesn't back fire only on the odd occasion ,a local dealer or bike shop would be able to help if you are unsure of adjusting it your self , hope this helps
Thanks , i've got the long ones (they seem shorter than the originals) . I'll give it a good blast out and see if I need to get the carbs tweaked ............still it sounds a lot better than the originals , thanks Mike
