Like to remove baffles from the stock silencers. Seen the videos, no big deal. Anyone know if I have to change jetting? 2003 with carbs.
    Thanks

Bear in mind the exhaust is only half the equation. To derive the full benefit requires you to remove the airbox baffle and open up the induction side. Otherwise it will be noisier but not much more torque.

Pull the baffle and rubber snorkel - best replace with a TTP Breathe. Then fit something like 128/130 mains. Pilots probably ok as standard. You should read up here https://www.triumphtwinpower.com/bo...ter-intake-cover-bellmouth-velocity-stack.php for lots of tech info and how to......

With difficulty....the problem is accessing the screwheads without stripping them. Even with an angled screwdriver the chances are you will struggle. Especially if the screws have not moved since manufacture. It is why Allen bolts are a common aftermarket fix.

You can do it by loosening off the manifold clamps and freeing off the airbox rubbers then twisting then up and out leaving fuel and throttle cables in place but I would recommend getting them on the bench, giving them a good clean and accessing all the soft brass fittings in a way least likely to cause damage. Refit with Allen screws so any subsequent jetting mods do not require the carbs dismounting.
