Hello, I want a US SPEC SEAT for a 1972 T140. It needs the hinges on the right and a plunger on the left. Everything I have found has the hinges on the left or doesn't have the plunger type catch. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks.
Hi David I take you have had no joy with the usual E Bay ect? The only other suggestion is to contact someone who imports bikes from the States and ask if they could look for one for you on their next trip. Cheers Steve
Spoken to a few seat dealers with not much luck, so have found a seat restorer who can do the modification to my original seat which seems like the best thing to do considering the strange setup of my bike. It'll take a few weeks to do so I'll wait until the winter, although it feels a bit like winter already. Cheers Dave
