Has anyone got anything positive to say about the warning lights on the speedy/America? During daylight hours, the high beam warning on my America can only be seen in the garage! and the indicator warning light is just of no use in its existing position.

I have decided that I am going to make a special radial warning light assembly that fits round the speedo. This will contain all the functions of the lights that are on the tank and will plug into the existing socket so no modification required.

Ill make out of plastic initially but then when happy, ill make an aluminium one. The CNC program will be the same for the machine anyway so I can spit them out once the design is spot on.

Ill post pics if anyone wants to see it. I shall design and make this weekend as its deffo not biking weather.

Hi, yes, awesome improvement I 100% agree, however, I despise the position of them, unless I look down i wouldnt see it no matter how bright it is so I have made the prototype. I will post a you tube vid link when its uploaded which is happening now. I decided not to go to the extreme of making a radial assembly and just do the indicators under the speedo as you will see.

Hell of an improvement - well done!

I chose a slightly more expensive solution <grin>... I traded the America for a Thunderbird. The T-Bird has self-cancelling signals.

Why thank you sir, The production one will be awesome........ Expensive as it will be a machined Alloy part but very nice.
I hear you on the t bird upgrade. Ive not tried one, Im a 70 MPH man these days on most bikes, Ive got other bikes though that I do go fast on and yes, they have indicator warning lights you can actually see!!
