Yo Dill, If its your choice great, having lived in the Costa Blanca for 5 years (Rojales Hills) and deciding to come back to UK I know most of the pitfalls that you won't be told about so if I can be of any help re how to deal with the Spanish send me a message with your contact numbers and I'll give you a ring and tell you how we got on. Mr O is dead right re the exchange rate and the effect on your buying power. Brief advice is please do your homework in depth then go out there and rent somewhere for a year. Good luck. Cheers, Pete.

i would say go for it,Petes advice about renting for a year sounds like a good idea, I'm looking to get a holiday place over there in 3/4 years,my mrs would never move permanently as she is a twin and has 2 other sisters and they are all really close, also having grand kids that we see every week would complicate things even more
