So a brand new Tiger 800 XRx (like what I have got now) will cost me £10550.00 OTR. My current one when new 2 years ago cost me £11000.00, but that also included the expedition panniers with fitting kit and the LED fog lights. The same accessories added on to the new one will take it up to £11700.00 - just over a 6% increase, which is probably not the end of the world. What I do find annoying is that mine came with a centre stand as standard and the Caspian blue colour was at no extra cost. The new bike comes in Jet Black as standard (someone will be happy) and all other colours including the new Lucerne blue will be extra - so add another £309.00 (£184.00 for stand and £125.00 for paint) on to the price just to get what I already had before. These are accessory only prices so may well include fitting costs - to be fair I didn't pay any last time - but who knows with Triumph!

What's with this paying extra for a colour bollocks? They all seem to be at it now, my mate (owns a small bike shop) wanted to buy a new car for his wife last year a Seat, she wanted it in red which was 500 quid extra so John said we'll have one but I want it in primer unpainted. He told the salesperson it's a deal breaker and would walk away rather than pay the 500 quid bingo car bought no payment of 500 beer tokens.Cheers Maybe we should all ask for unpainted cars and bikes!
I’ve been considering the new Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports. Not the DCT, duel clutch model but the one with the normal clutch etc. It only comes in all the right colours
