Roads You Just Love

I did this lot last year in a car with the wife, she just couldn’t understand why I kept sighing, I was imagining what it would be like on a bike!!

 

Yep, all true, don't come up here it's crap, tell all your friends, it's really really crap, cos it is, if it's no snowing the midges will probably take your arm off. The roads are shit, the view is like looking into the crapper at the back of the bookies. It's just rubbish, please ignore my photo of the bridge, I photoshopped that and don't ride that road, long boring straight, with speed cameras every 20 yards, all of them. We have 1 speed camera for every 500 yards in Scotland. Police will seize your bike and crush if you do 61 mph. The people are really unfriendly, the food and accomodation are even worse. It's a total shithole from Sranraer to Thurso.

You have been warned, don't blame me if you get here and its shite!

 

I've got way too many favourite roads to list them all but ALL the roads we will be on during the forums 1st Scottish Road Trip in May are favourites of mine,including the A86, brilliant road surface,no traffic,and a great mixture of fast sweepers and tighter corners.

loads of great roads in Ireland ,spent a great couple of days with @andyc1 doing some of the North Wests roads last year, the year before i did a weeks tour around killarney/Kinsale some fabulous roads but unfortunately i lost the pics when my computer misbehaved..i now back them up to a portable hard drive

 

Did this last year, the road from Muro De Alcoy to Xabia, especially the CV700

 

B4035 Shipston on Stour to Bloxham,quiet most of the time.
