    Hello,
Is the seat height of the gel seat the same as the standard seat or somewhere in between the low seat and standard seat. The reason being, I'm considering buying a Sprint GT and the Demo bike I tried out is a bit on the high side that I'm accustomed to. I have an inside leg of 29" and would prefer my feet to be more or less flat on the ground for stability.

    Hi

Dunno about the gel seat but I went for the low seat (I have the same inside leg size) and can just about get the feet flat.

Am I right in saying that the standard seat is adjustable?

I don't think so... I purchased the lower seat as I'm a short arse.

Maybe I'm getting confused with the tiger which has adjustable seat hight.

In answer to this I had a sprint GT with a 29” inside leg and found it to be on the tall side. But the way you sit on the bike makes you feel high up.
Definately a bike you sit on rather than in. Other than that a very capable bike.
I got rid of it for that reason.
Seat was the gel seat which is standard on the GT.
Was never able to get hold of a short seat to try it. Most people take seats to the likes of Tony Archer and get them re profiled.

I have just bought a 95 Sprint and I find the seat to low. I am 6'2".

Not only that but I find the whole riding position odd.

Looking on eBay for a thicker seat but they all look the same as mine.

It's no big deal, I am going to remodel the seat by fabricating a shaped steel platform on the front section and lifting the foam upwards and recovering.

Lifting or lowering a seat 25mm makes a lot of difference either way, done it a few times before.
