I am trying to install an integrated tail and turn tail light and the tail only lights up when brake is pushed but doesn't stay on when key is in accessory or in park

So I figured out the the fuse was blown and now the running lights are on but when I press the brake there isn't any difference in the light as far as the brake flashing when pushed I tried to add a resistor to see if it would change anything but there was no improvement....im still stuck...thanks for all the help so far

    Rum Cocktails yum!

The new light should have three wires.
One for earth / ground connection. (-ve)
One for tail light LeD. (+ve)
    One for stop light LeD.(+ve)

The original will be the same only connected to a filament bulb!

Sounds like your new one is a single tail light LeD.

    Off "chillin" hic!

You need a Tail/Stop light, as it is at the moment looks like the LeD will only illuminate with one or the other., have you got a link to the one you bought?
