Shame that. Had mine done in 1993. Best money I've ever spent.

Maybe so, but you could ask. They won't do it unless they can get a result.

I had the visor off and read all the instructions but no advice on how to adjust the gap so will have to live with it I suppose.
The paperwork reckons that the pinlock is only for day use, hmm but who would know eh? I'm slowly coming round to giving it a try, nothing lost

Went for ride into central. The visor started fogging. I think I inserted the pinlock incorrectly. So I've redone it and will be taking it out again to test it.

I also noticed a whistle on and off (inconsistent).....not sure when it's happening. ....meaning when doing shoulder checks or certain head movement. So I'm not going to mess about with visor Base plate until I can pinpoint the cause.

The fit, stability, comfort. ....top notch. No buffeting (did around 70mph on A1M), the ventilation is decent and when fog free...the visibility through the visor is excellent.

    Keep ya all posted.

You probably know all this but........ (might be useful for others giving pinlock their first try)....
Check the pinlock visor is the right way round with the seal against the visor.
Also the pins in the visor are eccentric so rotating them to the correct position gives a tighter fit of the pinlock seal, the double glazing works best with a 100% seal.
I've found it easiest to locate one end on the pin then form an S shape to locate the other end before it pops into place.
I've got an old pair of silk inner gloves (pre-heated grip days :)) I put on for the job to avoid finger prints and dust, the surfaces are quite easily damaged if your not gentle with them.
