    does anybody know the front fork spring rate for the 2012 speed triple R

    thanks , but the R version uses different forks with a stiffer setup I believe than the S version

    My suspicion is the major difference is the adjustability of the Ohlins items over the Showa whereas spring rates are standardised for the chassis and average rider weight. Racetech don’t differentiate between models when you otherwise think they might.

    For the 2012 R version they are .94kg/mm got the info from Ohlins going with .90KG/mm to suit my weight , had my Daytona 955i with that spring rate perfect

    Hoping to get the front forks back this week give them a call Tuesday morn , cant wait to put it all back together and try it out , I changed out the rear spring from a 100 to a 95 the mechanic at the dealership had a used 1 $20 worth a try On the Daytona I got a Nitron rear shock and Ohlins springs and valves all set to my weight . made a big difference

    All back together , went out for a good ride yesterday little chilly for Texas ,yes the bike felt great
