My biggest concern would be availability of parts with such a small production run, but, has a lot going for it

Limited edition, made in the U.K. could be very collectible in a few years time.

Do you remember the Heskeths ?
A limited edition of only 24 were made in 2014, check them out on the Hesketh website.

Just had a quick look at the Silk via google.
Can't say I remember seeing one before.
Very angular styling, not the the nicest looking of bikes.

Scott engine in a Spondon frame if memory serves. Old two stroke twin meets modern (at that time) lightweight racing frame.
    Does beg the question, why?
Well received by the press at the time though.:)

Nice to see CCM going strong. Their stand was constantly busy yesterday with lots of interest in the bikes. They look extremely well made and the price for a limited edition (250 only) hand built Brit bike seems pretty reasonable.

I was at Motorcycle Live a week ago, and the only two bikes I really thought I'd add to my collection (if I had a collection to add to), was the CCM Spitfire (cafe racer or the flat tracker) and the Paton, though the latter is too expensive. But the Spitfire looked like it could be a real bundle of fun.

My mate got number 150 of a run of....150! I thought it was 250....anyway...

He's bringing it to the Picos in September. Let you know how he gets on.

I know what you're gonna say about luggage or lack thereof but we're basing at my house and radiating out every day; a tank bag is all that's needed...... it's just getting from Barcelona to the Picos that's the tricky bit.

I was seriously considering buying one & the promo photos look great until you see that feckin ugly radiator hanging down like snot on a beauty queen!

I guess snot/beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The radiator doesn't bother me, and I'd still like one in the garage...

...a CCM Spitfire, that is, not just a radiator.

I got to see a CCM Spitfire in the flesh yesterday and while the bike is not actually my cup of tea it does look pretty stunning with some very good engineering going on, I was definitely impressed! :)

Spoke to a guy waiting in Laguna's at Maidstone, he ordered one at launch. Still waiting on delivery despite paying 90% upfront in installments.
Apparently the delay was caused by issue in the manufacturing of the petrol tanks. With only 150 of each being made, think I would be worried about spares in the event of a mishap...........

Saw them at a bike show. I was quite impressed also the price wasn’t too bad as well.
