    NOW SOLD

My Bandit 1200 is for sale.
Owned it most of it's 20 years but just not doing the mileage on it these days.
    It's in the Reading area.

    MK1 Bandit 1200
    Just over 23,000 miles
    MOT until June 2018
    Datatool alarm, Promotive exhaust,
I've owned this for most of it's life, it's in good condition but always been used (just not enough recently. [IMG]:( ) so not showroom condition.
Comes with a load of spares including std fairing and 2 other end cans.
    £1500ovno

Hi TC, back in the day I had one exactly like yours; same year, same colour even with a Micron and carb kit. It was a monster of torque.

Maybe DD will buy it (due to nostalgia) as he loves these and he bought mine years ago. Perhaps he could start a collection ?????

I've actually owned this one on three separate occasions.
I've had 3 other 1200's at some time or another as well, so you could say I like them.
I was trying to keep this one, but I wasn't covering the mileage.
I will be looking for something else to replace it though.....:)

Sometime I feel that I am the only person in the motorcycling world that hasn't owned - nay, ridden even - a Bandit of any size or specification.:sob:
And yes, I do like the look of them. Probably almost as good as me Trident! I did say almost.:p

That's a lovely looking bandit. If that had been around in my area at the right time I would have snapped it up. I have had 2 bandits, one 600 and the other I still have is a fully faired 650, last of the carb models. It's so much fun, sits beside the Bonnie and the newly acquired Sprint RS 955i.

I've had one or two Bandits in the past.
    At the last count
    1 400 Bandit
    1 600 Bandit
    1 Japanese market 750 Bandit
    4 1200 Bandits
    My wife's had 2 600 Bandits.

This will be the first time in 20 years, there's not been a Bandit of some sort in the garage :(
I still love riding the 12, but I just don't do enough miles to justify keeping it now....
Still, I've always got the Speed Triple though :D

Just to add, there's a load of spares to go with it as well, from bodywork to different end cans etc.

You forgot the de rigeur twin Bates, stubby can, K&N's, dodgy Renthal bars and a loud owner :p

After 20 years of owning bandits, I think it might be time to have something else :)
