Thank you! Every "professional" studio picture I could find was of the yellow/silver scheme but I am a tad different from the norm and wanted to go the other direction. I love it.
What did you think of the power? Did you like pull of the torque. It's hard to believe that the 900cc engine puts out more torque than horsepower.
Haha...I will try to do better next time. As far as the riding position, I intended and even spoke with the tech about swapping the clubman bars for a more traditional tracker set (like the street twin) before I purchased it. He quoted me a price of about $350 US. After riding it nearly 500 miles in the last 10 days I have to say that it's not horrible and can actually be quite fun but my feeling is confirmed that I want a more upright riding position. I have to go aftermarket however if I just want to change the bars because the Street Twin uses 7/8" bars and risers while the Street Cup uses a 1" bar (I'm not sure the tech knew this when I asked because we talked of just swapping out the bars from a Street Twin demo). In fact, I plan to post something in the forum to see if anyone here has attempted the swap and what to look for. One large question I have is whether I can use the stock cables.
That is an interesting idea Dozer...I thought about it quite a bit after I read your suggestion trying to decide what is more important to me...stock parts which are not designed to fit but could be made to fit with some ingenuity...or aftermarket parts that fit with no real modifications necessary and I think I've determined it would be safer to go with the aftermarket bars. Companies like Bitwell and Harddrive make 1" tracker bars that look perfect. Thank you for the suggestion, however.
