Checking the stretch s a better measurement of how far gone a chain is in my opinion. Just use a vernier gauge and measure several links. I usually measure a couple of links individually then do 10 link sections. At different points. If the links are excessively worn it will show up that way. All I can say is I love belt drive
Sorry I should have been clearer.I replaced the nib and set it up, and its been working since a few weeks after I got the bike.
Will do, thanks I have a gauge. Just done two days and I didnt notice anything at all wrong. The thing is shes off the road now for a hub,swingarm rear shock rebuild so Im down there anyway and it does look like one way or an other the chain and sprockets getting some attention
