ok so I have just done 3000 miles since june when I picked up bike from new (love it) but spent the last 10 years on a fireblade with electronic steering damper, so ridden 765 all summer no probs but went out yesterday gave it a big handful 2nd 3rd and into 4th hit a few small ripples in road and had the biggest tank slapper, eased off throttle and she went almost immediately.
so does anyone know if you can buy a steering damper kit if so where from ?? google it but found nowt.

See no reason why the 675 kits wont fit :)

Since you have ridden all summer with no issues I'm wondering if the tyres (rear especially) are beyond their best with 3000 miles on. Are the pressures right, could it have just been that particular stretch of tarmac ?

As above, if it was no problem during the summer, I'd look for the source of the problem rather than masking the symptoms. Tyre's are the most likely culprit on a newish bike, but it can be head bearings, badly set up suspension, tyre profile etc.

As above, this happened to me on my 765RS. Checked tyres and the pressure was down. Pumped them up and no problems since.

yep guys went back down that road today and it has an insane amount of ripples and bumps so I am sure that's why.
but I would still like to put a damper on it anyone know if the 675 kits will fit the 765 ?
